“Movie-Spot” is a compact box device, a portable multimedia player which allows you to play your media files of movies, music, and pictures on TV. Instead of internal hard drives or other storage media, Movie-Spot is designed to be worked with external storage devices, such as flash drives, memory cards and external/portable hard drives. It is intended to allow the users to use any of those storage devices with Movie-Spot through its USB ports; providing the portability, flexibility and avoid the “maximum storage capacity” issue, unlike other products, such as a PVR with a fixed internal storage size, or Apple* TV which is limited by its internal hard drive.This is merely to give users the option of choosing the hard disk (or other storage devices) they want or to use ones they already own.
Working together with a portable hard drive, Movie-Spot is your movie Jukebox, music Jukebox and photo album.
If you have invested hundreds or thousands of dollars on DVD movies, you’ve probably known that the DVD in and of itself is not a very reliable form of media. It can easily be scratched which may cause the disc itself to become worthless and no longer play. You may like to copy or backup all your favorite movies to portable hard disk drives and watch them on TV exactly as if they were running from the original DVDs with all original features, and keep all your valuable movie collections in a safe place.
